God Listens and Answers our Prayers – What Keeps Me Going #7

One of the greatest truth that keeps me going, an ever renewed motivation, one that even further buttresses God’s undying love for me is the fact that I have a God, father and maker who listens to my prayers and answers them.

This is big to me because he owes me nothing for me to deserve that grace, God is not answerable to man, nor does He owe man anything to be obliged to listen to man, but He does it anyway.

Regardless of the situation or mess you’re in, the truth in Isaiah 59:1 remains “Surely the arm of the LORD is not too short to save, nor his ear too dull to hear.

He said in Isaiah 65:24, “Before they call I will answer; while they are still speaking I will hear.

I believe this is pretty amazing and should give rest to our troubled soul.

Let me share few scriptures that further buttress this truth;

1 John 5:14-15This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us. And if we know that he hears us—whatever we ask—we know that we have what we asked of him.

John 16:23-24 In that day you will not question Me about anything Truly, truly, I say to you, if you ask the Father for anything in My name, He will give it to you. “Until now you have asked for nothing in My name; ask and you will receive, so that your joy may be made full’

Psalm 145:19 – He fulfills the desires of those who fear him; He hears their cry and saves them.

Matthew 7:7 – “Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you.

I want to end this post with the same words of James in James 5:13; Is anyone among you in trouble or suffering? Let him/her pray.

Prayer remains one thing we often think of doing but never get to do, are you troubled or in trouble? PRAY!

Quit the worrying, self-pity and complaining. P R A Y ! ! !

You can do that right now. Do you believe God is listening? Then talk to him.
