LESSON FROM THE WORLD’S RICHEST PETS

I was recently reading about the world’s richest pets and I was completely mesmerized. Let me share the story of three with you
The number three richest pet is Tommaso, a 4-year-old stray alley cat, rescued from the streets of Rome by the late Maria Assunta. In her will, she left him with “properties in Rome, Milan and land in Calabria” along with $13 million.

Number two is Kalu the chimp. According to the Daily Mail, Kalu was found by Patricia O’Neill, daughter of the Countess of Kenmore and Olympic champion swimmer Frank O’Neill, tied to a tree amidst war in Zaire. The chimp was set to inherit $80 million.

Also, Oprah Winfrey has promised her dogs $30 million, this making them one of the richest pets in the world.

Why all these dog and million dollars stories? An ordinary street cat was rescued by a wealthy person and BOOM!!! the dog is richer than 70% Nigerians just like that. And dogs that will not live up to 20 years set to inherit $30 million because their owner is rich. Then how much more you and I that are called “heirs of God” an inheritor or possessor of God and joint-heirs with Christ who God has given everything into His care. (Col 1:16-17).

Hey! Before you start checking the search engines for my net worth, you may not see my name on Forbes list as the richest man simply because they can’t evaluate my heavenly father’s resources/worth but that does not change the fact that I am far wealthier than anybody that is not a member of the family of God through the adoption of sons by Christ Jesus and that goes for every born again child of God.

Do you know what the Bible says about you? “But you are a chosen people, royal priests, a holy nation, a people for God’s own possession. You were chosen to tell about the wonderful acts of God”. 1 Peter 2:9

Just like Oprah, God purposely bought us to display His excellencies. And part of it is His immeasurable riches (He owns everything), sound mind (just consider the creation; beautiful, e.g. the sunset), perfect wholeness (He has never been reported sick), and even much more are available to you in Christ by simply believing, accepting and embracing Christ as your life. Embrace this truth regardless of your present state, make it your daily confession and see yourself  increase on every side.

If you wanna be part of the family, it is easy, believe in Jesus as your Lord and boldly confess it.  Kindly  leave your  comment.

Yours in His family,
