THE ART OF PROGRESS – IGNITE WITH SUCCESSBAYO #24

runner-closeupFirst steps are always the hardest but until they are taken the notion of progress remains only a notion and not an achievement”

Hello friends, I welcome you to another session of IGNITE SERIES. Have you ever thought about the impact of the little important things we avoid in our lives? I want you to know that effort always precede results in the journey of life.

I would like to remind you about a dynamite am sure you know about, it’s called the art of progress.

Success is the result of effort, some efforts might have not lead to success but at least you have learnt from it. One major ability we need for exercising patience when in our quest for success is “Will Power”.

Will power is different from desire. Everyone has a desire to succeed but not everyone is succeeding because the desire has not ignited any will power from within. Desire is passive and dormant while will power is active and eager. This is key, read that statement again!!!

How desperate are  you for that goal? Continuous effort is the principle behind laser Rays. Combination of  Continuous efforts and focus will lead to an outburst of triumph.

I want you to know that the more effort you put into whatsoever you do then the luckier you get. Avoid any form of idleness, because idleness is the key to beggary. Keep getting better and better. And am sure your opportunity will come soon.

No wonder Allan Rufus said;

Life is like a game of chess. To win you have to make a move.

Knowing which move to make comes with IN-SIGHT and knowledge, and by learning the lessons that are accumulated along the way”

We become each and every piece within the game called life!

Let me share with you two vital ways on how you can accelerate your progress.

  1. Change your strategy.

There is no point beating yourself over an unachieved goal, I discovered that whether am happy or sad, nothing will change until I make effort to make it better. Another thing we need  to understand is that when efforts are not yielding results, we sometimes need to “change your strategy”. It’s time to change your approach. It is foolishness to do the same thing over and over again and expect a different result. How often do you work towards being a better person? How often do you pray to your Heavenly Father? How often do you read relevant books? How many mentors do you have? How do you want to be better at your workplace ?

  1. Strategy of Inconvenience

There is something called “the strategy of inconvenience”, sacrifice  your comfort zone for the remaining part of this year for the greatness you envisioned and am sure the result will amaze you. Have you noticed that almost every student preparing for exam sacrifice a night before each exam paper for that paper. To accelerate your progress you have to sacrifice more of your time for the development of the areas you need the reward.

I see you becoming better and greater!!!!
