Here is Day 2’s challenge.
- RELATIONSHIP: Love is speaking your partner’s language (love language), not yours because your way of showing love might not be love to your partner. This week, we challenge ourselves to love the way they will want to be loved.
CHALLENGE 2: Deepen your knowledge of how your partner would like to be loved by finding out his/her Love Languages.
IDEAS: Tell him/her to take the love language test and you do likewise. Go to http://www.5lovelanguages.com/ to take the test. The love languages are Act of Service, Words of Affirmation, Gift, Quality Time and Physical Touch
- CAPACITY BUILDING: Nothing determines our capacity like Sustainable learning. Every wise house is built by understanding. Learning should be associated with passion and not “by force” thing. This week, we challenge ourselves to leverage on our best learning mode.
CHALLENGE 2: Am sure you have recognized your best learning mode, the challenge for today is for you to identify your learning peak period.
IDEAS: Your Learning peak can be morning, afternoon or night. (It might even be after you just finished eating, sleeping or watching a movie).
- LIVING THE WORD: A song we sang while growing up says “Prayer is the key”, but do we realize how powerful praying for others can be? After Job prayed for his friends, the LORD restored his fortunes. In fact, the LORD gave him twice as much as before! (Job 42:10)
CHALLENGE 2: From the knowledge of praying for others that you’ve received yesterday; Pray for at least 5 people that you know are either sick, troubled, in a messy situation…using at least a minute for each of them.
IDEAS: Pray like this; I pray for ________ (fill in his/her name) that you God by your love and mercy will ________ (fill in the request) in Jesus name. Amen
