Welcome to another week and another set of DAILY CHALLENEGES.
This week;
RELATIONSHIP corner will focus on what we can learn from our partner/prospective partner’s past (not necessarily ugly past).
CAPACITY BUILDING will be helping us do those things that make for Excellence.
And BIBLE LIVING will help us to “rejoice always” as commanded in the bible.
Here is Week 2; Day 3‘s challenge.
- RELATIONSHIP: We have always been advised to leave the past behind, but I believe that there is so much we can learn from out past. And mind you, both the good and bad memories of the past.
CHALLENGE 3: Everyone defines and expects based on what they saw growing up in their home, from their parents, this sometimes is unconscious. Today’s challenge is to find out what they think love means, their definition and expectations.
IDEAS: Talk about how they saw their parents love each other, what they think is sweet and ugly about their parents or family way of love.
- CAPACITY BUILDING : The effect of skills and talents in capacity building can not be overemphasized. Everyone of us have a natural ability called “talent” and there are other abilities we are passionate about developing called “skills”. Have you been able to discover your skills and talents?
CHALLENGE 3: I challenge you to discover yours today.
IDEAS: Your talent is your natural gifts, it can be good voice for singing, teaching, dancing e.t.c. While your skills are the abilities you are interested in developing, this can be graphic design, arts and crafts and many more
- LIVING THE WORD: Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, Rejoice (Phil 4:4). Rejoice always (1 Thess 5:16). These are both commands, but we both know being “joyful always”, seems rather impracticable. But this week’s challenge will see you joyful all the way.
CHALLENGE 3: Be glad in the Lord and rejoice, you righteous; And shout for joy, all you upright in heart! Psalms 32:11
IDEAS: If we look at the situations around us and those we are in, we might not see a reason to be joyful, but today, let God be our joy, let Him be the center of our joy. Remember His promises and hope in Him.
Do have a beautiful day. We will love to receive feedback on these challenges and please, have your partner, friends and loved ones join you on this challenge.
New challenge will be posted every morning by 5am.
