There’s a story that is told about a woman who was standing on a street corner crying profusely. A man came up to her and asked why she was crying. The lady shook her head and replied: “I was just thinking that maybe someday I would get married. We would later have a beautiful baby girl. Then one day this child and I would go for a walk along this street, come to this corner, and my darling daughter would run into the street, get hit by a car, and die”
Am sure the story sounds very annoying, exactly I felt like seeing the woman in this story to give her a knock when I came across the story.–for a grown woman to be weeping her eyes out because of something that would probably never happen.
Yet that is the way most people think in this present age, they get worried over something that is irrelevant and insignificant. An old Swedish proverb says “Worry gives a small thing a big shadow”. Worry is simply a route which leads from somewhere to nowhere.
Some people will even go to the point of asking themselves some irrelevant questions such as; Can I ever be rich? Can I pass this exam?, Will I Grow Old? Ever own a car? Will I ever get married? …Don’t worry and don’t fear, take your worry to the Lord.
Fear and Worry are interest paid in advance on something you may never own. FEAR AND WORRY ARE DEPOSITS PAID TO THE ENEMIES ACCOUNT.

Jesus gave a great illustration why we shouldn’t worry; “LOOK AT THE BIRDS OF THE AIR, they neither plant or harvest into barns, but God do satisfy them daily with food”. That is enough to quench worry in any area of our life: finance, health, marriage, future, etc. But most times I do unconsciously lost in worry. But that isn’t an excuse before God. May God deliver me and everyone from worry. WORRY IS FAITH DEFICIENCY SYNDROM.
