My friends often accuse me of being too positive even when I’m obviously having a bad day. Well, my reason is simple- I can’t just give myself an headache over something that is transitional such as having a bad day, so I give myself reasons to look on the brighter side.
1. It could have been worse
Yep, no matter how terrible you day could be or have been, it could have still been worse, You might be having the worst day in the whole universe, but you are breathing – that is something worth being thankful for.
2. It’s probably part of a grand design
Call me an excessive optimist, but I love happy endings, and a few bumps in the road heighten my expectations of a grand ending. Bad days and events often make sense and fulfil their purpose in forming such grand endings.
So, in case your day is filled with some bumps here and there, just shout these two points aloud to yourself (vocally or internally).
“I can’t be having the worst day in the whole world“
“It will all make sense in the end“
Have a beautiful day, and see you tomorrow morning for another dose of Morning Motivation
