Love

IT'S EITHER IN THE NAME OF LOVE OR FUN

Young woman grabbing man's necktieIn the part of the world where I’m from, cheap things are considered as inferior to their expensive counterpart, not only inferior but also substandard, or generally put “fake”. It is seen as a product for the people in the lower strata of life. A major characteristic of cheap things is the large quantity of their availability. You see them everywhere.

An average Rolls Royce, Lamborghini or Ferrari car will forever be more expensive, better valued and definitely function better than any average Toyota or Ford brand, why? The earlier mentioned brands are exclusive brand made once in a while and very few products per brand, but the latter are mass produced for the masses.
Now to the cause of the perambulations, I think I have had it up to my neck on how sex has become a “thing”, no special worth is left to it anymore, I see questions like, “To sleep with him on the first date or not?”, “Can you buy a girl a $900 phone and not ask for sex?”, “Do you prefer it in bed or outside?” “Last time you had sex?” and many more disgusting but out rightly stupid questions. When has sex become a topic to be debated upon?
You know, what God made to be sacred has gotten so common that we even have countless slang for it. It is no more a question of when it is right to do it to what is wrong with doing it, when did sex become a proof of love, what happened to words, what happened to other forms of actions, act of service, gifts, attention, time.
Do you know why God destroyed Sodom?

Also remember the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah and the other towns around them. In the same way they were full of sexual sin and people who desired sexual relations that God does not allow (lust of men for other men). They suffer the punishment of eternal fire, as an example for all to see. (Those cities were destroyed by fire and continue to be a warning to us that there is a hell in which sinners are punished) Jude 1:7

God decreed destruction for the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah. A mound of ashes was all that was left—grim warning to anyone bent on an ungodly life. 2 Peter 2:6 (MSG)

I’m not judging anybody or attempting to create fear of hell fire because Jesus died for your sins so you don’t have to face condemnation anymore. Embrace the love and sacrifice of Jesus and forsake the works of the flesh. All he requires from you is to accept his love, repent from your past and accept his help. And all will be as if you were never guilty; justified.
Now you know better, Love or fun is too small a reason to toil around danger. Thank you for reading through.
