Ladies and their specs yeah, I think it’s actually cool to have specifications, it’s just shows that you know what you want, which is a good thing.
In fact, it’s perfect, but there are complains I have heard and I think it’s funny.
So some ladies at some point have found themselves liking a dude they didn’t exactly want to date, you know the whole indecision thing. When you ask them about the guy, they give you a long sermon of how great a man he is, tall, dark and handsome, you know, all the stuff he has done, the good stuff though, then comes the “but”.
He would have been tall, dark and handsome;

  • But, his darkness is on the white side of the black and white scale or too much on the black side as the case may be.
  • He is everything else, just that his height is somewhere below the radar.
  • You won’t believe how awesome his personality is but he is almost a scary sight.
  • With how amazing he has been to me I expected that he will be my knight in shiny armor but his armor is most likely rusted.

He doesn’t have enough hair, his nose takes in oxygen for two, his lips occupy a reasonable area of his face, and my kids won’t forgive me if they possessed this or that features….
The list goes on and on… not to burst your bubbles of these ladies but you are not perfect yourself.
I am sure men have their own check list, so I’m not saying you should settle for less, just know what you can live with and don’t allow his big nose or something else make you lose someone that is totally worth it when you know you can live with it.

LOVING SOMEONE IS COMPLETELY A CHOICE.

This is not only about ladies, guys too have their own but if anything, I know people differ a lot when it comes to things like this.
We might not get all that we want in our spouse, I strongly believe in “Prioritizing” and “Scale of Preference”…
So, if you were to put these specifications to the test, what will be your Scale of Preferences, what and what can you not tolerate, accept or is non-negotiable for you?? And on the other side, which can you let slide if every other thing is in place??
I think if we can answer these questions honestly, it will stop us from beating around the bush when we see what we are truly looking for…
As for me, I LOVE FINE BOYS OH ( I lie not :D), BUT THEM GATS BE TONGUES SPEAKING, SCRIPTURES QUOTING, A MAN AFTER GOD’S HEART, KNIGHT IN SHINY AMOUR FOR ME AND MY UNBORN CHILDREN, BOTH WORD AND SPIRIT FILLED, A MIGHTY MAN OF VALOUR, RESPONSIBLE, LOVING CHARACTER, HARDING WORKING, A BIG DREAMER AND ACHIEVER….. It’s almost an endless list though, but these are just a few of the things I won’t trade for “Tall, Dark and Handsome” #TDH 😀
What do you think about people’s Spouse specifications? What are yours and how do you deal with people who don’t meet up? What attributes are negotiable and which are not? I’m really looking forward to seeing your comments. 😀 ? ?

No one is perfect,

We find and become perfect in Jesus Christ.

Love God, love yourself,

And the world will Love you too.”
